Cambridge Branch ANZAC Day Services 2017
22nd April 2017
3:00pm to 4:00pm
The Cambridgeshire branch of the Britain-Australia Society will be holding its annual Anzac Commemorative Service on Saturday 22nd April 2017 .
The Service will once again be held in the Church of St Andrew the Great, in the centre of Cambridge, at 3.00 p.m.
This year we are holding an additional service at 10.30 a.m. on the 22nd April at the Cambridge City Cemetery in conjunction with the Cambridge branch of the RAF Association which has identified the graves of 252 Australian and 81 New Zealand airmen buried there.
St Andrew the Great has the graves of Captain James Cook’s wife and two of their sons, so is a very appropriate venue for this commemorative service. Usually tea and ANZAC biscuits are served after the service with a chance to mingle with the congregation.
All are welcome to both events. For further details please , Tel: 01223 262715.
Please note this is a Cambridgeshire event
