The Society Chairman, Peter Benson OAM would like to invite members to attend a reception to announce the recipient of the Britain-Australia Society Award on Monday 3 April 2017 in Australia House.
The Britain-Australia Society Award recognises both British and Australian individuals who have made a significant contribution to our bilateral relations. Past recipients of the Award are Barry Humphries AO CBE and The Rt Hon William (now Lord) Hague MP.
We are delighted to announce that the 2016 Britain-Australia Society award recipient is Kylie Minogue OBE.
This will be a small and intimate event and therefore tickets will be restricted to members of the Society in the first instance.
Please email the Executive Secretary to reserve your place and we will confirm your membership and send you the link to register.
If there are tickets remaining we will allocate places to members’ guests by ballot. If you would like to apply for a guest please include their name in your email and we will enter them into the ballot.
Dress Code: Smart
Entry to Australia House
Please be aware that entrance to the Australian High Commission will require a security check and presentation of official photographic identification which must match your name on the guest-list.
Where possible we ask that you avoid bringing large bags/suitcases into the building and, whilst there will be cloakroom facilities, please keep all your personal belongings to a minimum. This will reduce the waiting time to enter the event.
With the proud support of the Australian High Commission.
