London Legacy Ball 2016

London Legacy Patrons, His Excellency The Honourable Alexander Downer AC, Australian High Commissioner to the UK, Sir Michael Hintze AM, Randolph Churchill & Lt-Col. Gordon Birdwood (Ret.) cordially invite Britain-Australia Society members and their guests  to apply for tickets to attend the 2016 London Legacy Anzac Ball.

His Excellency Alexander Downer AC, Australian High Commissioner to the UK will read a speech by Lord John Slim about his father, Field Marshall Bill Slim who became Governor General of Australia and had a special relationship with the ANZACs and the Australian people.

The London Legacy Anzac Ball is again to be hosted in the Ballroom of Australia House, with fabulous entertainment, auctions and a fabulous three course dinner with wine.  Dinner will be followed by speeches and a Remembrance Service incorporating the Last Post and a 2 minute silence.

All Ball proceeds enable London Legacy to continue to care for the families of incapacitated & deceased Australian & New Zealand veterans.

A cash bar will be available.

Dress is black tie, uniforms, medals and ball gowns.

The Britain-Australia Society will have a table at this event, if you would like to attend please advise the office.

NOTE:   To received the special B-AS member rate your payment must be received by London Legacy prior to 1 February 2016.
