The Britain-Australia Society runs a wide range events over the course of the calendar year that are available to our members, their guests and members of the public interested in supporting the bilateral relationship.

The Australian High Commission have asked us to inform all attendees of our events at Australia House that the following items are prohibited from entering the High Commission:
Weapons, Physical Threat Items and Sharp Objects including but not limited to:

Firearms, ammunition.

Knives, pointed or bladed articles, scissors, multi-tools (unless authorised for contractor work purposes),

Explosives, chemical agents (e.g. CS spray)

Any improvised or dual-use weapon.
Hazardous and Dangerous Substances, Items posing fire, chemical, or biological risks including but not limited to:

Flammable liquids and fuels

Pressurised gases
-
Toxic or hazardous chemicals

Biological substances or samples (unauthorised)
Please note that this list is not exhaustive and security personnel reserve the right to prohibit any other items from entering the AHC if they deem a potential risk.
