Welcome to the new Australian and United Kingdom Heads of Trade

    4th January 2017
    6:00pm to 7:45pm

Our friends at Austrade have kindly offered Britain-Australia Society members twenty (20) places at this reception.

Austrade is hosting a reception on 4 January 2017 at Australia House to hear from the new heads of the Australian Trade and Investment Commission in the United Kingdom (Austrade) and the UK Department for International Trade in Australia (DIT), as they both commence their new roles.

David Watson (Austrade) and Michael Ward (DIT) will be sharing their perspectives on strength of the Britain-Australia relationship, and how their respective organisations will be working together in the coming year to further strengthen these ties and help position our countries for future prosperity. It will also be an opportunity to meet representatives of a range of businesses and government offices involved in UK-Australia investment, trade, education, the arts and tourism.

Read more on David Watson and Michael Ward.

RSVP:    If you would like to attend the reception please email the Britain-Australia Society office by 14 December 2016.  Due to limited places for this event, you must be a member to attend.
