Once We Lived Here

Once We Lived Here

Published 2nd April

The UK premiere of the Australian musical Once We Lived Here started its run today.

This is a funny, touching and totally original musical about families, secrets and the passing of a way of life.
Fresh from award-winning productions in Melbourne and New York, Once We Loved Here opens at the King’s Head Theatre in a brand new production directed by Dean Bryant (Worldwide Associate Director of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert), with a stunning cast including Melle Stewart and Iestyn Arwel (Lionel Bart’s Quasimodo at the King’s Head Theatre).
Once We Lived Here tells the story of Amy, who runs the family sheep station in Victoria, Australia, and has held onto the property through periods of drought, bushfire and tumbling wool prices. But when the family gathers over a scorching long weekend, Amy has to face up to the myths and lies the place has been built upon. Is she holding on or is she stuck?

The production runs from April 2nd to 26th.
